NCCE is proud to offer two levels of Library of Congress training over the 2013 Summer!
NCCE LOC TPS Workshops 2013 Level I (Introductory) Apply Today!
This two-day workshop will introduce you to the vast collections on the Library of Congress's rich reservoir of over 19 million digital resources and explore how you can use them to engage students in the classroom. Two-day workshops will include information on:
- Navigating the Library of Congress website for digital content
- Searching digitized materials and lessons
- Analyzing primary sources and discussing lesson implementation strategies
- Exploring Copyright information
- Designing lessons utilizing Library of Congress materials
- Links to Common Core Standards
- Engaging and challenging students using primary source materials
- Continuing Education hours available and College Credit
- Lunch provided both days.

NCCE LOC TPS Workshops 2013 Level II Training (Advanced) Apply Today!
This two-day workshop will focus on understanding Inquiry-based teaching using Primary Source materials from the Library of Congress. Emphasis will be on developing lessons designed around the inquiry model and meeting common core standards.
Workshop is free. University Credit and Washington State Clock Hours are available. Lunch provided both days.
