NCCE
2006 Conference

Northwest Council for Computer Education

August 20, 2008

  Executive Director's
Invitation to Attend

If you're going to attend just one Educational Conference this year, NCCE 2006 Conference in amazing Portland, Oregon, is the one to choose. It is THE gathering of the year for teachers, tech coordinators, library media specialists, administrators, and district decision makers.

NCCE 2006 is titled "Technology in Education . . . Reaching New Heights." And that's exactly what we intend to do. From Tuesday, February 7 through Friday, February 10, we're going to put on one heck of a show.

Sure, we'll have over 130 targeted sessions, 60 workshops, and over 100 "technology for education" exhibitors. But this year, we're zeroing in on some of the latest educational technology applications, such as blogging, podcasting, distance learning, and a reprise of last year's very popular IT Leadership Summit...not to mention sessions designed to help you address your "No Child Left Behind" challenges.

And did we mention the array of social and down-time activities we have for you to enjoy? You'll even have a chance to win a very valuable prize...just for attending.

On Wednesday night of the conference, our exhibitors will really be gearing up for our Portland show, promising to amaze us with some of the most innovative new products to come along in years. Browse and chat with them as you enjoy treats and drinks.

The following night, after the day's activities, we're planning a big bash on the "Portland Spirit" flagship yacht, with dinner, music, dancing, surprises, and prizes!

At this, our 35th annual NCCE Conference, we're staging one of the largest, most complex and informational events ever. We have hard-hitting programs, highly motivated vendors and sponsors, and a gorgeous venue for all of it.

All we need are you and all your peers that utilize technology in education. You're invited to help us "Reach New Heights" in Portland this coming February.
