NCCE and the Portland Oregon Visitors Association work very hard to determine the overall value our conference brings to Portland, and this impacts our ability to negotiate the best deals on such things as hotel room rates. Unfortunately, some attendees choose to reserve their hotel room outside our block. Rooms sold outside of the NCCE block cannot be tracked; therefore, the value of the NCCE Conference diminishes. To stay in the NCCE block, make your reservation using our Online Housing Form or Printable Housing Form (PDF File*). You are helping us negotiate future low rates with our conference hotels. NCCE's housing block is at the Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center Portland-Lloyd Center located at 1000 NE Multnomah in Portland, Oregon. Discounted rates provided by the Doubletree are $98.00 for single occupancy or $113 for double occupancy. OVERFLOW HOTELS: RED LION HOTEL NCCE has secured the Red Lion Hotel Portland-Convention Center at 1021 NE Grand Avenue in Portland, Oregon to accommodate our conference guests. Discounted rates provided by the Red Lion are $98.00. HOLIDAY INN PORTLAND DOWNTOWN / CONVENTION CENTER NCCE has secured the Holiday Inn Portland-Convention Center at 1441 NE Second Avenue in Portland, Oregon to accommodate our conference guests. Discounted rates provided by the Holiday Inn are $98.00.

All hotel reservation transactions (new, change, or cancel) are to be made through the housing bureau (POVA Housing) through the end of the day, Thursday, February 2, 2006. Starting on Friday, February 3, 2006 all reservation transactions are to be made directly with the assigned hotel.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

The Housing Bureau automatically sends acknowledgements once the request has been processed. You will not receive an acknowledgement from the hotel. Acknowledgements are sent via email (immediately after being processed), fax or mail (allow up to 10 business days for delivery). Please review all information for accuracy. If you do not receive your acknowledgement within 15 business days or have questions regarding your reservation, please contact the Housing Bureau.

RATES/TAXES/SPECIAL REQUESTS

To take advantage of the special Portland rates, please book your reservation by Monday, January 9, 2006. After this date, room blocks will be released and hotels may charge higher rates. All rates are per room and are subject to 12.5% occupancy tax, (subject to change). Special requests cannot be guaranteed; however, the hotel will do their best to honor all requests. The hotel will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability.

DEPOSITS

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or check. Requests received without proper guarantee information will NOT be processed. Credit cards (valid at least through the dates of the convention) will not be charged a deposit. Checks are only accepted with mailed forms in the amount of $110.25 (per room request) made out to "POVA Housing" and mailed to the address listed above. Purchase orders will not be accepted.

CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS

Reservations may be changed or cancelled via the website or through POVA until Thursday, February 2, 2006. All changes and cancellations must be made directly by the assigned hotel ONLY after February 2, 2006. Do not contact the hotel directly until after February 2, 2006. Refunds for cancelled reservations that are guaranteed with a check deposit will be mailed within 10 business days upon receipt of written notification, less any cancellation fees (if applicable).
