The Northwest Council for Computer Education (NCCE)'s WWW Server is designed to offer the education community and general public easy access to information about NCCE and the appropriate use of technology in Education.


The Goal of NCCE's WWW server

The goal of NCCE's WWW server is to support educators and the appropriate use of technology in education. To achieve this, the server provides quality, equitable, and cost-effective information resources. Content of NCCE's WWW server

The intent of the NCCE WWW Content Policy is to ensure that all contents and uses of the server are consistent with the purposes of the organization. The policy does not attempt to detail all possibilities for content on the site. However, the following guidelines must be followed:

  1. All use of NCCE's WWW server must be in support of education and research in the northwest and consistent with the purposes of the Northwest Council for Computer Education.

  2. There will be three e-mail addresses officially recognized on the NCCE server. Each will be set to forward mail directly to the current officer(s):
         Address:            Recipient(s)
          ncce@ncce.org:      President
          board@ncce.org:     All members of the Board of Directors
          grants@ncce.org:    Chair of the Grants Committee
     
  3. Documents to be kept on the NCCE WWW Server include, but are not limited to:
  4. All documents or links other than those listed above must be approved by the President or an appointee of the President.

  5. Any use of NCCE's WWW server for commercial solicitation is prohibited.

  6. All communications and information accessible via NCCE's WWW server shall be assumed to be the property of NCCE.

  7. Any use of NCCE's WWW server for illegal purposes, or in support of illegal activities, is prohibited.
