MIE Advanced Training Conference 

EXCLUSIVE FOR MIE TRAINERS ONLY

Participants will:

  • Focus on how to leverage technology to increase academic achievement! More specifically, participants will gain hands-on training on Microsoft OneNote, Office 365 for Education and Windows 8
  • Leave with teacher-ready training modules
  • Share professional development best practices
  • Network and explore the Microsoft Campus
  • Meet with Microsoft executive leaders

REGISTRATION FEE: $150 (includes breakfast/lunch on training days) Travel and Lodging are not provided.

HOW TO APPLY:

Step 1: Create a OneNote notebook and upload a required resource to the Partners in Learning Network. Download and personalize as directed: OneNote Portfolio Template

Step 2: Complete: Online Application

Step 3: Attach completed OneNote notebook to your application

Notifications will begin July 9

PARTICIPANTS MUST:

Applicants for the MIE Advanced Training Conference must have:

  • Completed the 2-day MIE program
  • Submitted training reports via the Zoomerang link
  • Trained a minimum of 100 educators
  • Demonstrated a strong proficiency in Microsoft OneNote in an educational setting

During the Conference:

  • Fully engage and participate in the complete program

Post Conference:

  • Recruit 3 educators to apply for PiL US Forum (starting in 2013)
  • Commit to reaching 1,000 educators with a qualified activity* within one year

* Qualified Activities: Blogs, YouTube and TeacherTube Videos, District/School newsletters, PIL tutorials, MIE Training seminars, Conference presentations, district/school-wide professional development activities, Microsoft Store presentations.
