Continuing Education

College credit and clock hours for NCCE ‘12 will be available. Registration will occur onsite.

Clock Hours: Washington Teacher Clock Hours will provide up to 26.5 clock hours for the 2012 NCCE Seattle Conference and Pre-Conference Workshops and Summits, at $2 per clock hour. A minimum of 3 clock hours is required. Hours of operation are:

Thursday, March 15 • 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Friday, March 16 • 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Please note: All educators applying for clock hours must sign the clock hour roster, complete a clock hour registration form, and obtain an official signature from the authorized personnel at the Washington Teacher Clock Hour booth. College Credit:

Portland State: NCCE participants will be able to receive 1 graduate or undergraduate credit for $65.00.

University of Idaho: NCCE participants will be able to receive 1 graduate credit for $60.00.

 

Helpful Hints

The tone of NCCE ‘12 is casual and relaxed, so plan to wear comfortable attire and footwear. Since weather can be cool in Seattle this time of year, pack accordingly.

NCCE ‘12 will be held at the Washington State Convention Center, 800 Convention Place in Seattle, WA.

Transportation and
Parking in Seattle

Seattle is accessible by auto, plane, train, and bus. From the airport, shuttle and taxi service is available at an additional cost. Check with your hotel when making reservations. The Washington State Convention Center operates a public parking facility. visit www.wsctc.com for driving directions and parking rates.

Watering Hole

Some need food and water to survive but @ NCCE 2012 the techies need TECHNOLOGY to survive. NCCE has partnered with Insight Systems Exchange and Lock’n’Charge Technologies to provide our posse with connectivity and power. Stop by the watering hole to kick up your boots and get recharged.

 

Volunteering

NCCE is always looking for volunteers to help in an assortment of different areas. volunteer shifts are available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 am - 8 pm.
